About Me
There are times in life when you may face difficulties, feel overwhelmed, stuck or find life a constant struggle.
You don’t have to face this alone.
The core of my practice is Humanistic and person-centred which means I tailor my approach to suit each individual and their needs.
Through counselling I can support you in exploring your concerns to gain more understanding of yourself and your situation.
I offer a space where you will feel heard, respected and safe and where you can talk about what is troubling you without being judged.
Experience
I am an experienced BACP registered Psychotherapeutic counsellor (MBACP) with a Post-graduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling from the University of Brighton. Before becoming a therapist, I was an advisory teacher supporting deaf children in school and their families at home.
As well as my Private Practice I also work as a Senior Counsellor for a low-cost counselling service. Previously I supported staff in a counselling service in an NHS hospital.
As a BACP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor I adhere to the BACP (British Associations for Psychotherapy and Counselling) Ethical Framework to work ethically and keep you safe as we work together. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have regular supervision as well as professional indemnity insurance. I pursue an ongoing programme of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
